For all of you who have ever felt bombarded or frustrated with asks about a home-based business opportunity...

Have you ever felt annoyed by a family member or friend or even a stranger on social media who has approached you to take a look at their MLM/Network Marketing business, host a party for them or test out their products?

Before I stir up those negative emotions all over again....STOP! Take a deep breath in and out...open up your heart and mind and read on...

I felt compelled to write about this topic today because I have a ton of friends in the industry, as am I, and I have been seeing a lot of posts lately around friends wanting to support one another by shifting their spending and purchasing all of their Christmas 2016 gifts from other home based businesses instead of corporate stores. 

 

  I am not going to speak to any specific company or product today but instead try to get you to see the genuine and caring thought behind  each and every ask in order to shed some light from a different perspective for you as the consumer. It may or may not change anything for you but it also may open your eyes and heart to being more open the next time another opportunity comes around which is my hope for you today.

When someone approaches you to test out their product...a lot of people automatically get their defences up thinking it is all about the sale and worry about feeling obligated to try it out (even though it's free to sample) because then they will feel obligated to purchase something afterwards to compensate their time. Usually in this case the consultant genuinely just wants feedback from consumers. They are seeking honest reviews from every day people who they feel would value the product they have to offer. They see some need to share the product, whether it be because of the amazing ingredient policy, the amazing benefits/outcomes to using it or a solution to something you might not even know was an issue (like weight loss, acne control, eczema relief whatever it might be). Or another possibility is that they value your opinion so much and view you as an expert in that category and would like your honest feedback in comparison to what you are already using/love so they can have a true testament to their company/products and feel validated for making the decision to join in the first place. So the next time someone asks you to sample their products, don't be afraid. Proceed with caution of coarse and ask what being a product tester would entail (cost etc.) before agreeing but you might find yourself absolutely surprised by the quality and innovative products that are on the market in the MLM world today and you just might find your new all-time favs! 

 

When someone approaches you about hosting a party...again, a lot of people automatically start thinking of excuses why they are unavailable or cannot host. Trust me when I say, I've heard it all! lol It's funny to me because for a specie who values connection and a sense of belonging we live in such a lonely World these days. We hide behind our "busy" calendars and technology. When you are asked to host, take it as a compliment! It means the person who asked you thinks you have amazing potential, are popular and have a large network of friends and family, and wants to spend time showing you an opportunity they hold in high regard and would feel selfish not to share with you. They genuinely just want to educate you and your guests on their products/company in a fun, relaxing environment and want to share what they do with you because it is just too good to keep a secret ;) And why not take advantage of the amazing hostess rewards that companies offer! SPOILER ALERT: WE LOVE TO SPOIL OUR HOSTS! There is no hidden agenda. It's all out there on the line. They are just trying to grow their own network and are searching to do so by referrals from people just like you. 

If someone approaches you about their business opportunity...well holy smokes this is a true HONOR! We don't ask just anybody to join our businesses. It may seem that way at times but I assure you we are extremely picky with who we would like to partner with in this industry. We are searching for people with the utmost genuine characteristics. People who are driven, motivated, social, fun to be around, authentic, have a positive attitude, already successful to some capacity in their life and who we want to spend time with locking arms and growing successful, global unstoppable businesses with.

This blog was not meant to be a sales pitch or a come join my business pitch but rather a mom on a mission voicing her personal opinion on why the next time someone approaches you about their opportunity you should absolutely say YES and hear them out! Internet based businesses are the way of the future so embrace it :)
