Product Review: Norwex Fresh Produce Wash

It's berry season!!!!

If you're like myself, you LOVE fresh, local grown produce as much as possible! I love nothing more than supporting local farmers when possible and purchasing fresh, clean quality produce for our family. There is no better time than summer to do so.
Whether you're planning a day to go pick them yourselves from a local berry picking farm or you stop by a local market the plan remains the same...you must wash before you eat. Do you ever wonder why this is so? Produce comes in contact with lots of things that would cause you to want to wash it first such as dirt, unwanted residue, pesticides, wax, etcetera. So what does your family do to clean your produce in your home? Rinse under water? Or do you use a produce washing regimen of sorts?
I recently came across Norwex's Fresh Produce wash while attending a friend's online party and was intrigued right away. I had to try it!
***Disclaimer : I am not a consultant of Norwex and do not benefit from referrals in any way.***
Norwex's website states that the Fresh Produce Wash "Cleans fresh fruits and vegetables naturally with this plant-based, biodegradable concentrate. Effectively cleans fruits and vegetables so they are ready to eat! The all-natural formula contains no phosphates, sulfates or parabens so you can feed your family without worry. Plus, it helps to extend the shelf life of fruits and vegetables, and it maintains their aroma and flavor"(http://norwex.biz/en_CA/shop/product-detail/38128).
For me,  this spoke directly to my personal values. I am always looking for products free from chemicals, parabens, sulfates, and phosphates and that are green. With grocery stores full of all of the above, it makes food prep tedious and pricy for the conscious consumer. This product allows me to clean my produce in minutes as soon as I get home from the grocery store so I can cut and prep it prior to putting it in the fridge that way they are easily accessible and ready to grab and go for our busy lifestyle. I also found that it really brings out their natural colours and flavours. We will definitely continue using this one in our home!
